Integrated Crop Management Charter
and EUREP GAP
Over the years,
European consumer base has become more and more demanding concerning
the quality level they request for pears and apples and product traceability.
French growers have anticipated consumers requests by writing some
specifications concerning mainly the ochards : the Integrated Crop
Management Charter (Production Fruitière Intégrée / PFI).
In 1997, the northern European supermarket stores laid out a new
productor standard : EUREP GAP. Our growers have adopted the
principle of EUREP GAP and 99% have already complied with the
criteria.

The combination of these 2 product norms highlights that EUREP GAP scheme is more environmental. And the main differences are :
