Orchards focusing on bi-coloured apples
The Groups orchards are all located in the triangle of Angers le Mans Tours. Over the years the Groups orchards have seen a change of varietal mix best illustrated with the rise in importance of bi-coloured varieties.
The groups orchards were formerly made up of traditional varieties such as Golden and Granny but more and more focus is given to planting more modern varieties given the change in consumer trends.
The group has experienced constant export expansion spearheaded by the growth of bi-coloured apples. The table below amply illustrates this and shows the steady decline of Golden potential over the years.
